Stone Schoenfeld, PT, DPT, Cert.DN
Getting Started
Growing up in a sport-oriented family, movement and exercise was always a big part of my life. Fast forward to my early twenties, and several sport-related injuries later, I had undergone five separate knee operations ranging from ligament, cartilage, and bone reconstruction. Following each procedure, I attended physical therapy and quickly fell in love with the profession in every way. Being a former patient has given me a unique perspective regarding the patient experience and has allowed to me implement sincere empathy and understanding to my personal practice.
Patient tip to ensure successful PT outcome:
I like to think of PT sessions as practice for a big game/event. The work put in during each session is preparation/fine-tuning for being able to perform desired activities on one’s own. It is essential this work continues outside of the clinic for continued strength gains and pain relief.
Fun Facts
I enjoy working outdoors in the yard. I love adding my own personal touch to my front and backyard landscape. Ask me about my garden!
